Boys football - Elgin League semi-final
Royal Russell U15As 4-0 Aldenham
Royal Russell U15As progressed into the final of the Elgin league beating ISFA Cup champions Aldenham 4-0.
We started the game as we have all season, on the front foot. We got the goal we deserved when some great play saw Dylan De Gale back heel it to Zac Brennan who thumped home, 1-0. Zac then turned provider as his free kick was headed home by Evan Newman, 2-0. HT.
Russell continued to dominated proceedings and their pressing off the ball was outstanding. The 3rd goal came when Stanley Moore saw his header saved but Bobby Hassell was on hand to tap home, making it 2 in 2 for him. The 4th goal of the game came when Dylan De Gale flicked a header to Evan Newman who slotted home his 2nd of the afternoon, 4-0. We continued to create numerous chances with Tom Scarles, Cameron Anderson-Green, Arthur Leake and Charles Hayden de Carbonneires all coming close.
Another outstanding performance which sees the team progress into the final which is due to be played after Easter.
Congratulations!
