Royal Russell U15A 7-0 Charterhouse

The 15As started their Elgin league campaign with a bang as they thumped Charterhouse 7-0, with an outstanding first half display.

Kyle Dalling started the scoring with a tremendous effort from 20 yards out which flew into the top corner 1-0. Russell were playing some outstanding football and Samuel Chou and Kura Abe linked up superbly well with the latter slotting home to make it 2-0. Kura got his second as he punished a defensive mistake 3-0. A free flowing move saw the boys work it from right to left incisively, Jay Cho then flashed in a low cross where Sam Chou was on hand to tap home. A fantastic team goal 5-0. Another fantastic team move saw the GK pull off two good saves from Kura and Jay but Sam was on hand to tap home. A thunderous effort from Nicholas Parris from 25 yards out saw the team go 6-0 up.

Charterhouse came out the 2nd half and made sure they were hard to break down as they sat all 11 players behind the ball. This made it hard for us but we still managed to find one more goal. It was Sam who got his deserved hat-trick after great play from Kian Miller.

A fantastic start to the Elgin League campaign for the U15As.
