Royal Russell U15A 4-1 Alleyns U15A
The U15As kicked off their campaign with a convincing 4-1 win victory over Alleyns.
Despite going 1-0 down at half time, Royal Russell dominated proceedings in the 1st half. Kuranosuke Abe, Kyle Dalling and Malachi Patrick all had good efforts with Kura coming closest as his finish was cleared off the line. Russell went into half time disappointed but still upbeat from their performance.
This showed as Kian Miller slipped in Kura with a killer pass and Kura expertly dinked the GK for his 1st Royal Russell goal, 1-1. Minutes later he got his 2nd as he punished a mistake at the back from Alleyn’s, 2-1. Kian Miller got a deserved goal as his tenacity in midfield saw him win the ball back, slip in Malachi Patrick whose crossed was parried into the path of Kian who made it 3-1. Kura had time to get his deserved hat-trick as Kyle Dalling who was a threat all morning, slipped in the striker and he made no mistake, 4-1.
A strong performance from the team with the back 3 of George Thomas, Emerson Blackwell and captain Joseph Soya-Bongay looking Solide. As debuts go however, a hat-trick to start off your Royal Russell Journey is not a bad one for Kura.
