Match Report
Royal Russell School Boys-U18C vs  Wilson's School
On: Wednesday, 11 Dec 2019
Venue: Away

On the last fixture of the term the 3XI again took on Wilson’s, but this time playing the comparable team. On a bobbly pitch, with the wind howling and temperatures falling, we struggled initially to find our own players and resorted to risky, cross-field passes, too often over-hit and conceding possession. However great persistence from Dan P playing in his first full game since injury resulted in a game of pinball with their keeper and centre back before falling kindly to Dan who made no mistake. Charlie B scored next with a right-foot-rocket from the edge of the area and as he and Lucas started combining very well down the right it was looking ominous for Wilson’s. Alex L scored almost on the half-time whistle after good work on the left.

The second half brought 3 more goals. Two to Allan, both after crosses from the right finished on the back post and fittingly 1 more to Dan, shortest player on the park, with a header from a corner. 6-0 Royal Russell.
